The First Annual Buffalo Science fest is brought to you by Science Demands Action. The fest was supposed to occur after the march for science but had to be cancelled due to weather.
This event is a great opportunity for children and adults alike to interact with 30+ local organizations in health, environment, science, and policy. There will be hands on activities, demonstrations, and information about volunteer opportunities and events.
The theme for the Fest is “How can Science help you? How can you help science?"
Our goal is to:
- Engage the Buffalo community in a discussion about the role of science in our personal lives, our community, and our country.
- Raise awareness about the organizations, aid, and opportunities across Buffalo.
- Generate excitement about science.
- Advocate for evidence-based policy.
Have some fun in the sun at Canalside while exploring science!
